Spoiler:

The report was sent out at roughly 3:48pm in the form of a distress call for quick help. It requested the presence of all whom could help as soon as possible and was typed in a few words. The one who sent the message obviously had little time and at first village security worried if the report was true or not. The report, its message saying "help bank rob now” was emailed to the ANBU corps headquarters and was quickly aimed towards the main captain. It fell into his hands to make the call now on whether to send ninja, who to send, etc. Sending out a scout, the evidence of the robbery was confirmed within seconds and the mission was quickly typed up within a minute and sent to the mission management center as a Top Priority message. Now, this rested in the hands of the ninja while the ANBU lurked in the shadows. It was unnecessary for them to handle this; a normal ninja job, and they wished to see who would pick it up first.

Sanzen Makai was heading to the mission provider as they spoke; her walk a casual stride and eyes peering forward with the lack of expression. She had been a bit down in the dumps lately, even if she didn’t show it, and wished to partake in missions to make her feel useful again. Late nights at the local bar were proving to be too much for taste; she was tired of staying home and not getting anything done. Why was she doing this? Well at the moment she was hiding out from the world. The village was mostly safe aside from the occasional crimes a Genin could handle and she had not had the chance to plot an assault against one of the fresh Genin either. Thing was, she hasn’t seen any new members. A few victims rested on her mind but she had not been able to see them around town either. Things were to…peaceful… and she hated it. She almost wanted to cause chaos herself. Getting under the Hokage’s skin sounded nice at the moment, something to do to create excitement amongst the villagers; but then again she didn’t want to lose a limb for any terrible deeds either. Fear? Nah, she was too much of a hide in the shadows person.

The moment she arrived through the mission management’s doors she was bombarded by one of the staff. The woman nearly attacked her by shoving her except Sanzen side stepped and let the woman fall to the ground; she wasn’t to kind sometimes. After realizing her reaction though, Sanzen reached to help the woman up but the staff member seemed able to do it herself. She stood up quickly, dirt covering her face, before she shoved the mission details into Sanzen’s hands and spoke at a fast pace that Sanzen barely understood, ”take this! Go! The bank needs ninja NOW! It’s being robbed! Grab help if you need but HURRY!”

Sanzen looked over the details then at the woman with a dull expression before she gave Sanzen a temperamental face. Sanzen shrugged and pocketed the details then before walking off. She heard the woman huff, imaged her placing her hands on her hips as though she were about to change Sanzen before Sanzen vanished from sight. Her form shuddered and was gone in an instant as she head towards the Bank. She knew missions were important but again, she was the type to get under someone’s skin. Why would she need help though? A few clones and dogs could handle the samurai’s without a sweat while she helped the people so why should she need help? Little did she know that help would cross her path rather soon if she did not meet up with it at the Bank. This help was a physical being she had not seen in a rather long time and one could only ask what their reunion would be like. Especially because that said help was now a rank above her, despite Sanzen’s overall skill as a ninja.

PostSubject: Re: Bank Hold Up [Mission / Shi]   Fri Dec 17, 2010 10:30 pm

He’d been spending his days alone for a little while now, sitting in the dusty room of the Hokage’s mansion, laid back on the guest bed looking at the roof. Of course he was bored when this happened, he had nothing to think about or to do, even though he could go out and do a mission he felt like he deserved some sort of break after dealing with that unruly excuse for a woman Nasamea. Alone in the guestroom, he twiddled his toes together and lounged in the bed covered in a mess of pajamas and covers, thinking of what to do next. His mind would occasionally fall on techniques and invention of original techniques, which occupied him for the majority of the day. He had a few conceptualizations of the technique he wanted to create, yet, even then he could not understand chakra enough to learn how to manipulate the possibilities and keep the idea completely original. It passed the time by well though.

After a couple of hours of minutes ticking by, an alarm went off outside of his room, echoing all around the manor. The familiar sound of a doorbell going off, but this time it had been a bit more rowdy in nature. Shihouin stood up from his bed and placed his bare feet on cold decorative tile, sticking his head forward so he could listen as to what was going on. Normally, the ANBU would rush his house like this, they would burst in and then try to find the Hokage as quick as possible, and every time they did that, he’d try to eavesdrop on their conversation. He never got to really hear what they were talking about, mumbled and strange words always never made it well through the door he was living behind. This time, it was a bit different, and being the fifteen year old he still was, he crept closer to the door and listened hard.

Rapid footsteps marched across the tile floors, they were chaotic, it couldn’t have been ANBU. Shihouin wondered what was going on. That constant sound of footsteps drawing closer caused the kid in him to come out, he crouched low and listened really hard, trying to hear everything they were saying. All of a sudden, this strong force of pressure came down on the door hard; knocking like bricks had been thrown at it. “Shihouin!!!!!” Scared that he had been called out, embarrassment crept across his face as he tried to play off ease dropping. He scampered back to his bed, on all fours in a crab position, heels pushing him back away from the door. “Y-Yeah?!” he could barely murmur. “Meet Sanzen down at the bank in the village streets for a mission. Come prepared, it’s a bank robbery.” It was like he could tell, that on the other side of that door was some burly, six foot tall ANBU agent who didn’t take no for an answer. Needless to say he complied, quickly.

Since the Hokage’s house had been close to everything, wasting time wasn’t at his disposal. The frigid cold wind at his neck blew harshly across the village, shaking his curly set of hairs as he took the quick route towards the village bank. On his back were two giant shuriken, fit snug with some invisible wire that probably wouldn’t be noticed anyways. Each step had put him closer, closer to someone he was on good terms with. Sanzen, he had not seen her since he tried to pry that exploding clone technique out of her hands. It had been a while since he’d seen her, his only actual sensei.

Shihouin arrived, posted on the building adjacent to her. At her speed which he easily matched, they were about only a couple of seconds away from the bank. Shihouin jumped down closer to her position, moving parallel with her as they made their way to the bank, avoiding civilians and other ninja as they cleared out the path. Shihouin smiled a bit, even though she probably wouldn’t look dead in his face. An almost kid voice came out, as if he had suddenly turned half of his age. “It’s been a long time hasn’t it, Sanzen?”

PostSubject: Re: Bank Hold Up [Mission / Shi]   Fri Dec 17, 2010 11:05 pm

Her ear twitched at the sound of a familiar voice as she ran. She heard the sound of his footsteps, felt his presence, and just barely twitched her eyes to see Shi's form near her. She had not looked at his face, only his feet. She had no need to for the mere fact that she knew who it was although was surprised at how young he had sounded since they last met. Nostalgia somewhat crept over her now as she saw her old student once more. He may as well have been her teacher now for despite age, he was far older in ninja years. She was convinced that he probably surpassed her as well in power besides rank. He was an Uchiha and from what she saw when teaching him, he grew fast. A quick learner was the best sort of ninja, they had an easier time adapting to scenarios which was always necessary when being a shinobi. Especially when that said shinobi traveled outside the village a lot.

"At that it has" she said calmly, her tone very even and lacking all but the faintest hint of impression. She had been facing forward again, her sights set on the Bank but her attention and senses on Shi and their surroundings. He must have been aiding her on this after going to the mission management center today but what if he had not learned the details of their duty?

"Whether you know it or not the bank is being robbed by five reported samurai, each believed to be skilled with weapons at the C rank level and it has been noted that they haven't used any jutsu. It's not determined whether they possess any, but I don't need to warn you to keep your guard up," she said, acknowledging that he possessed skill. He knew it, she especially knew, and that was that. "Give me a run down of your skills you have gained, your strongest affinities when it comes to speed, strength, etc. Katon and Earth yes?"

It was apparent she was assuming roll as leader of this mission. This was merely because she had a general idea of what jobs they should possess based on their skills; and the fact she wished to see how far Shihouin has come. Not wishing to waste to much time, she would be quick to provide him the run down once he told her his abilities.

"I was thinking that I handle the citizens and you take on the samurai. It's not that I wish to take on the easier job but your style is better suited to handling weapon users and close range combat. C ranks should be easier. If I need to I will create a shadow clone to go with you but do you really need it?"

It was then she finally looked him in the eye, her stare seeming to try and pierce straight through his barrier like metal bullets. She wasn't necessarily testing him wished to get a glimpse of whom he was turning into as a ninja. She was able to read people at times and seeing as how he was once under her wind, she wanted to know if he was on the right track of life.

There were only five of them, all specialized in CQC which meant that Shihouin had the best advantage at taking them all out. Since the mission details hadn’t been specified, probably since they had been rushed out to all of the ninja in the nearby vicinity, they didn’t limit what happened to the samurai, only that they are dealt with. Shihouin found this exciting to say the least, since he had come prepared for the type of situation which would allow him more flexibility in movements and options. He could be more brutal than normal, and not have to worry about saving some criminals life.

Since he’d been called to aid Sanzen, he was of course not in control of the mission, which in away made dealing with things easier. Whatever she asked for him to do, all he would have to do is complete it and be done with the mission. It allowed him to focus more on the objective, and took the strain off on focusing on everything that the mission entailed. Even though they had been together for quite some time as student and teacher, Shihouin had grown. “I’m skilled in speed, dexterity, stamina and strength in that order. I’ve picked up more techniques for both elements.” Since he wouldn’t need much help from her, he decided to just go with her battle plan. “Yeah, I’ll go and enter from the roof, while you start securing citizens. If they notice and begin to attack you, drop down a smoke bomb and I’ll enter. I think it’d be wise if you used Kage Bunshins, regular bunshins and the henge technique to allow yourself to get in eaiser. It’s gonna take me a minute to prepare proper attacks. It’d help if you also kept civilians away from the smoke, Sanzen-shishou.”

With that, Shihouin moved up from his running position with a jump, back to the roof tops. With a single jump from an adjacent building, he flew across the the skies and landed silently on the roof top ahead, he wanted to make this as easy as possible, and the more prep time he had the easier it would be. The tactics he wanted to use would cause some damage to the surrounding area, and the objective of the mission was to liberate the bank and make sure no hostages were harmed. Luckily, for him he could do just that and still make things interesting.

'Sanzen-shishou...' she repeated in her head before he took off. She did not grin nor show any sign of appeal before stopping in her tracks and turning course. She head down a snow filled alley, using the dumpsters and air conditioners as means of travel, before appearing on the opposite side. She then continued to run towards the back; her position now towards the back and at a better angle of infiltrating. It would help her secure an area that wasn't so obvious for people to gather.

Sanzen stopped once she was in range of the bank, its victims held hostage as the samurai made way with their robbery. The black cloak she wore around her bent towards her front from the wind as she formed hand seals, creating five kage bushin. Shihouin could handle himself but at least one clone would make sure they stayed on alert in case he or they could possibly be in trouble. Each clone served a specific task that Sanzen believed would benefit them on this mission.

One was assigned to be the decoy, her mission being that she entered, get captured, and sent to were the hostages were. This clone would pop once Shi was in to inform Sanzen of the success and que her to go as well. The second clone was a watcher; her duty being that she assist Sanzen if necessary but mostly to help keep an eye on Shihouin and the samurai if anything popped up. She would also be the one to throw down any smoke bombs. The third would be used as a helper to aid Sanzen evacuate and finally the last two clones were assigned as guards; their duties including keeping the streets safe and watching out for any other potential threats. Had any been sighted, one would pop and inform Sanzen and the clones. They would then adjust any plans from there but the truth was, had there been any threats, a back up plan was already in order. Sanzen was prepared no matter what; she made sure of it.

The first clone made her move. She had henged herself into a young woman in her 20's with rather large breasts and the IQ of a 6 year old. She wasn't literally dumb but this was the plan. She was decently built, blonde, and one of those woman whom would be appealing to most men and envied by others. She was serving as the distraction and hoped that had the samurai been men, they would fall for it with ease. She would simply waltz in, gasp, and then try to "run" before allowing herself to be caught. Which was how the plans seemed to go. Whether they found her attractive or not, two samurai grabbed her as she screamed for help. It was there she sighted them; two at the door, one stationed near the citizens with a sword at his disposal, and the other two samurai MIA. She tried to "fight them" but was soon bound and gagged like the rest of the helpless citizens. One man had already seemed to take a wound, blood staining his side as she laid on the wooden floors in pain. Sanzen found herself placed near this man, her eyes glaring at the samurai as she tried to move about. One samurai grabbed at her face then, his eyes appearing blood shot, as he smiled with a sick expression.

"If I were you, I would pipe down or else you'll end up like him" he said with alcohol tainted breath. Great, they were drunk, or at least this man was. The other citizens made noises then of protest before the man let go of Sanzen and shouted, "shut the hell up!" It silenced them in no time. The samura scoffed then and sighed before walking away. Sanzen watched him, his footsteps a bit off from being tipsy as he took his position back at the door. She then watched the other man for any signs of the same condition the first held. They were chatting with slurred tongues and occasionally let out hefty laughs, causing the third to snap at them.

"Shut up and guard the damn door! The ninja are bound to be coming sometime soon!"

He as well appeared to be under as well; his sword raised towards the guards with the tip pointed towards the ground. Sanzen had come in contact with a lot of strong men, majority of them drunk, and the rest fighters. She could spot a drunk male a mile away after working the red light district and these three were definitely just that. Excellent.

She watched them with a careful eye, waiting on Shi to make his move so she could disappear and alert the others.

While all of this was going on, clones five and six were starting to guard the streets. The took position points a mile from the bank. They ran about informing people to stay away and grabbing any who were stubborn enough to pass. They had strung wire with kunai across the main road using buildings and warned citizens even more. Most listened but there were those few. Every two minutes they would then make sure they head within the mile distance and search for any strays; carrying them away and warning them as well. News should spread quickly; especially with ANBU and other personal warning everyone. These two clones would pop once the mission was a success but for now they kept their duty as guards; both not using henge's.

OOC: This mission will be placed on temporary hiatus until the mission mods catch up with other missions. That way they aren't swarmed with them when they start modding again.

EDIT: Decided to post just to get it out of our hair. Mods can check it when they have time.

PostSubject: Re: Bank Hold Up [Mission / Shi]   Mon Dec 20, 2010 3:59 am

No smoke yet, so maybe the situation was in some sort of balance where Sanzen couldn't readily apply everything that he had asked for. Of course, he wanted the situation to fit him battle wise so he would have the total advantage, but as a shinobi everything was not expected to go easily. They would get caught at bumps in the road, and this was one of them. From his vantage point, he stood near one of the glass windows above the roof, away from the sunlight so his shadow wouldn't fall down on the top and alert the shinobi. He'd had everything ready for the plan, two giant shuriken attached to his back, some smoke bombs, senbon and explosive notes, and more importantly wire which he had threaded.

The complexity of it was too arduous to explain, it would probably take a good 20 minutes to explain how he had weaved it and placed it on anchored places in the roof to allow for a type of rappelling method. With some combined ninja tricks and a few distractions things would be easy. On the top of the roof, Shihouin stood facing one of the window panels. They were raised like a 3-D trapezoid with the bottom cut out, obviously the roof. The window had not been removed yet, but would be busted in a few minutes, and to the safety of the civilians was not directly over head. This was one of the few windows which had been placed over the door area, in direct sight of the heads of the two guarding the door.

The shadow clone took position on one of the other sides of the window, and had broke it so it would pull out, and not cave in, a window unit placed directly over the top of the civilians heads, and especially Sanzen and the drunk. Eying his clones in confirmation of his attack, the Kage Bunshin held a hand up, counting down. Four, three, two, one.

Go.

The clone pulled at the window pane which had been loosened, letting a quick, elusive gasp of wind into the building. The senbon had been wrapped tight with various items, and with a keen eye he threw them at certain places. One had been directly into the confusion, behind the samurai. There were two at the door, two near the crowd including the drunk, and another near the vault farther away. The first one had found its target near the foot of the drunk and his other pal, exploding before it could make contact. A smoke bomb dangled for a bit, and then clouded the whole area in gray fume which would create confusion. This tactic was for Sanzen. It was time she got the citizens out under the smoke, but the guards were in the way. The door would be opened soon however.

The next move happened near simultaneously. Once the clone had thrown the smoke bomb, under a second after he had throw two senbon with explosive notes and a smoke bomb by the door, each marked over both of their heads. The senbon flew in the room and grabbed their attention, and exploded into a huge frenzy which sent the smell of burning grey smoke everywhere and put them on guard. Shihouin made his move at this moment. Bursting the glass, the shattered sound of glass hitting the floor would alert all the samurai towards his general area.

One of them started to draw a sword, one of them at the door. Dropping down from the roof entrance, Shihouin used his Sharingan to see their position on the ground. Using chakra to walk down the walls, dropped down and sulked his way on the walls and grabbed the neck collar of one of the samurai. Yanking tight, he pulled back and dropped towards the ground stretching the wire it's full length, using chakra to stick so he wouldn't be pulled up. While on the ground he moved quickly to grab the other one, without worry of fear. Once he had the both he removed the chakra from his feet, using the force of the wire to pull him up half way. It wouldn't be spectacular and send him flying into the air and out of the windows, but it definitely got him enough air to place his feet on the wall again. Once he had gotten to an aerial position on a wall, a high powered shunshin had placed them back on the roof, throwing the samurai across its height.

They were too confused to know what was going on, or to understand what had just happened. Shiouin reached on his back to the giant shuriken, grabbing both of them and tossing them at the clone to begin the next phase. Shihouin drew a kunai from his pocket and would deal with two on the roof. The sharingan would allow him to counter their CQC supremacy, even though being a rank ahead of them would be enough to put them down. As they stood to their feet, Shihouin assumed a basic stance, watching them dust the confusion off of their selves and draw their blades, wondering who had brought them up here.

The final bunshin's plan wasn't anything special. There was no way he'd be doing the same rappelling trick as Shihouin did. With both shuriken in hand, the smoke would still linger, and the other samurai would be looking for the person that had accosted them. He would serve a a decoy, packing two huge weapons, weapons in the form of giant shuirken. Dropping down from the window pane, he landed strongly in the center, that is, between the two samurai and the one at the gate to attract attention. Once he landed, they drew, and shouted. "Who the hell are you?!" The clone smiled and held both shuriken in his hand, ready to strike. "Drop them! NOW!" Unbeknown to them, he complied. "All righty then."

It seemed like a second too long. Those giant shuriken were heavy, but it took a while for them to fall. Shihouin watched them linger in the air, both of them falling as if they were lighter than they should've been. Each second was tedious, and impatience gripped the samurai. They hit the ground and echoed like metal would, clanking against the tile floor. The samurai moved closer, and before they could get too close, the surprise was set off. Each shuriken henged, and transformed back into the full grown lion it had originally been. With two growling lions facing either shinobi, paralyzing them in a bit of fear, they moved to eat, while Sanzen would have time to secure the civilians.

Everything the two of them had planned worked like clockwork. Being that they had known each other and their tactics for some time the two could easily anticipate what the other had planned. Sanzen knew Shi was smart, she knew that he could easily cook up something that made it easy for both of them to head in, take action, and get their work done before heading home. Shihouin was a skilled ninja at that. No matter what sort of odds were set against him he found a way to overcome them. She knew without a doubt he would turn into a fine ninja. Her only hope was though that she would get to see the day this truly happened....

The smoke bomb marked the time for Sanzen to carry out her side of the plans. Shihouin would deal with the samurai while she made a clear pathway for the citizens to flee without causing to much attention to herself. Had the samurai even noticed her liberating the bank they would probably be to involved with Shihouin and his tricks to even think about engaging in battle with her. Shihouin was good at CQC, the said samurai's attack style as described in the details, so the job for him should be easy. In fact, he probably got the fun part of this mission.

Sanzen's clone disbursed into a quick cloud of smoke as all the information contained within its brain was sent back to its creator. Now was the time to move. Sanzen and her helper clones had been waiting patiently for the signal to come; their positions placed near the bank but out of sight of any possible guards. Which to her luck they were near the front door while her and the clones had found another unguarded door near the side of the bank. What fools they were to leave so many areas open for attack. They were destined to fail from the start; especially considering some were drunk; morons.

Her eyes snapped open when the clone burst; her hand raising and soon motioning towards one of her clones. The clone at her far right took off towards the side door first as a testing body. Had the samurai thought of setting any traps the clone would detonate them any hopefully provide a clear path for Sanzen and her other helper to liberate the hostages. All seemed well though when the clone's hand grasped the door knob and twisted. When she opened the door she braced herself for anything but it appeared these crooks were really not that smart; as expected. The clone entered as the air began to pull some smoke from the bomb out; her objective set on getting past an samurai and helping the civilians as needed. Seeing as how the clone made it through, Sanzen herself and her second helping clone made their way into the room as well.

Once inside, Sanzen located the civilians quickly and started to tear the gag off the first victim. The others watched Sanzen with surprised, scared, and frantic eyes while she did this; obviously wishing she would help them as well.

"I'm here to help, now everyone needs to get up and start exiting out the door. A clone is set up to help you. Do not run out frantically and be as quiet as possible so the samurai do not notice. Help any that need it, spread the word."

The victim nodded. She had been a young woman with auburn hair and tan skin; her clothes showing that she was the professional business type aside from her black frame glasses set before her eyes. She was quick to follow orders, remaining quiet as she unbound everyone and spread the words Sanzen had told her. While she did this though Sanzen and one of her clones were helping as well. Soon the auburn woman started a chain of action as people began to help others get out; their voices unheard and their footsteps faint. They all seemed untouched and easily able to exit with the help of Sanzen's other clone; except for one person.

The bleeding male that lied near Sanzen's clone was not seeming to get much better and would need to be taken to the hospital asap. Sanzen's helper clone was quick to run over to him first while Sanzen was unbinding people. She had first removed his shirt, noticing the slash wound was rather deep and would obviously need stitches. 'Great...' the clone thought sarcastically as she tried to use his shirt as a means of applying pressure. It wasn't much use though. Even though the blood had dried up in some places the man needed help now and Sanzen would lose a body soon enough. The clone picked up the man with ease, her arms having trouble holding him before she managed to place him on her back using another citizens help. She would now take him straight to the hospital; hoping he wasn't to badly hurt from the slash wound.

Sanzen remained on alert the whole time; her ears listening for Shihouin and the samurai as she used smoke bombs to keep herself under cover. She had thrown them more towards where Shi was but a bit of a ways away; the goal to help hide him as well but not flood him and his lions with smoke. She wanted it to look like he threw the bombs while she led the citizens out. One by one they would then gather in the streets before Sanzen's clone led them away to safety. Sanzen herself though would stay behind and watch over Shi had he needed any help. This mission would surely be over with soon enough.

OOC: Sorry for the terrible quality :/

Up on the top of the room, the samurai stood adjacent to each other, facing parallel towards Shihouin's location. They were separated by the cumbersome distance of 6m, which put them just out of a decent CQC strike range. Being C Rank, rushing that distance wasn't suicide, but it definitely didn't put them in a position which would allow them the total advantage of over their opponent. Surely they might have enough strength to take down Shihouin if the blades could reach him on the first try.

One of the guards, he wore a basic get up, some generic outfit with a regular flak jacket and some long sleeves with long pants colored in black, with a white flak jacket looked hesitant. His black hair hung down his back, but more importantly, the blade in his hand was still. The defensive position he was... It was as if he didn't want to attack. "Wait! We don't want any harm. We just need the money, our village has been foreclosed on, and we are out of money. We only want to survive!" The other samurai took a defensive stance that agreed with what his partnern had said. "Yes, we only need money to keep our village afloat... We have nothing else..." Remorse filled their eyes and Shihouin stared directly back at them.

Some type of coldness gripped him. It was an undescribeable divine feeling, heavenly yet sinister at the same time. What were those words they just uttered? What did they just say? Did it matter? No. Did it matter that he was protecting the innocent? No. What was their purpose here? Their life. Like the cool wind, it was fickle and faded away like a a crushed leaf lingering in the low wind.

They deserve to die.

Shihouin moved closer a bit, nearing the 5 meter range. They weren't sure why he had moved closer, but maybe he was going to let them go. Their defense softened up a bit more. He'd understand that they just needed money right? He'd understand that they really didn't mean for all this to happen. That they'ed been dragged here by their drunk leader and forced to partake in the crime. Sure robbery wasn't the thing that they wanted to do, but with those slick words and high status of the samurai in charge, they could force their selves to see why they had been led down this road. It made... some sense.

They still deserved to die. Shihouin spoke in a clear tone. "Drop your weapons, get down on both knees and place your hands behind your head." The samurai were unsure at first, should they comply? Shihouin didn't move from his position, crossed arms and a stale face implied that he wanted to see his commands through and through. The first one made a bold move, and dropped his samurai sword, tossing the blade across to his left. He dropped down on both knees and turned around, putting his hands behind his head. "Riichi... Do the same..." The other one quickly followed suit, in a fit of slow moving melancholy which implied deep regret. At least these two didn't want to be apart of the crime.

Unsuspectingly, from behind Shihouin, noise creaked loudly, like a bunch of old metal weighed down to the ground, being pushed across by someone. It streaked and screamed as the sand ground against the rusted metal doors. He looked back, to a man in a suit pushing the door open with all his might. It was one of the roof escape doors. Shihouin didn't notice that someone had been there, or even expected someone to use it. A staggering business professional, with loose tattered bald hair and a toupee that slipped near the left side drug himself out the door, panting as he looked up at the crowd in front of him. Shihouin turned around and ignored him. His chakra levels were too low to scare a nin-dog.

Shihouin walked up behind the samurai and placed a hand on the black haired ones head, roughly pushing the palm into the back of his head to expose his neck. Reaching deep in his pocket he grabbed a small shuirken and pulled the samurai back, out of the sight of the other one. Without word, notice, judgement came down swift. He plunged the shuriken deep into his neck, cutting his jugular and his throat in one swift move. Before the other one could hear the faint sound of gurgling blood filling up his comrades lungs, the same thing was done in an easy move, pushing the blade deep into his jugular and throat. He dropped the two instantly and turned around to the deranged man.

"Good riddens! Good thing you killed those god damn samurai." His breath was heavy, as if he had worked not a day in his life. "As the bank manager it's my job to keep the money safe and the people safe second, but today I just couldn't do it. They got mad when I foreclosed on their tiny village. You did a good job ninja. A necessary sacrifice to save some money for the village."

Of course, any normal person would've been stunned, and maybe enter into deep regrets for their actions. Shihouin wasn't trying to purposefully be cold as to gain some new demeanor, but his attitude simply allowed him not to care. Regardless of what the fool had said before him, their deaths had been issued for other reasons. Reasons that seem to satisfy Shihouin in a different way. Turning his back, he would walk down the same roof exit and follow the bank manager back down the steps slowly, while the situation had been cleaned up.

------

Once the lions had henged from their ploy as giant shuriken, the situation had become easy for Sanzen to manage. Well, hopefully it was easy. The lion faced off with the samurai at the vault and the other one faced off with the other two began to use techniques. The first technique was simple and wouldn't be noticed. As they went for their lunch, the claws and tails had recieved a huge bonus in strength. Even though their tails were too short compared to the over all length of their body, the lions could still combat.

The first one backed up and drew his sword, clashing with the strong black, gripping nails of a full grown lion. It seemed as if strength wasn't enough, and the heavy paw of the lion knocked free the sword which the C Rank tried so desperately to grip in his hand. Of course they were good in CQC, but these lions out matched them in physical characteristics by one rank, and then by some more. There was no need to mention what happened to the samurai after that, the two other samurai grew weak once they realized their partner was becoming food.

Sanzen could deal with them both now if she struck fast enough. The time that had gone by wasn't much, but definitely enough for her to flick one kunai tagged with a note at them. There shouldn't have been any citizens left, and since Shihouin hadn't got down to the bank floor yet, roughing them up with one could end the mission. If she didn't the other lion would take it's grizzly, blood stained yellow teeth out of the first body and taste the flesh of a new human. The mission was practically over, but it was up to Sanzen how it ended.

The citizens cleared out fast and with the clone aiding her, they actually stayed quiet. The threat of their lives had revealed who they were as humans as well. Some tried to shove themselves out as quickly as possible why other went back and helped others. It was their belief that they were doing a sacrificial deed that Sanzen was glad to see because it merely sped the process up. By the time all the hostages were out the clone would guide them away from the bank and into the safer section of town where another clone was keeping guard. Once the duties with the bank were over Sanzen would call back her chakra from using the clones and the citizens would be able to leave. Only one human was injured but due to this injury resulting from the samurai and not their own actions, Sanzen considered the second portion of the mission to be checked. They couldn't help what the samurai had done in between the time they received word and actually got there; that was up to chance. However, they could after and the citizens were kept safe and under control. The bleeding man was also taken to urgent care and on Sanzen's watch, should be inside the emergency room as they speak. Done and over. Of course, now came the second part of this own scheme.

Sanzen raised her left hand up and proceeded to casually fix her glove before a rather alarming sound erupted from the vault. Her gaze quickly shifted to the opening as the sound of a lion's roar and crunching bones were quickly heard from within. Two samurai seemed to be cowering nearby, their faces pale and eyes unable to look away from the sound that would end up as their downfall. With their attention turned away from Sanzen she soon pulled out a kunai loaded with an exploding tag and simply tossed it towards them. The kunai soared through the air, piercing it with its metal and creating a very light hum much like any weapon would. This brought back a flashback of when she taught Shi the difference in weapon sounds as she watched the kunai finally become within range. The two wouldn't know what hit them. Once the tagged tool was in blast range for both of them, Sanzen motioned a hand and the weapon detonated behind their heads. The blast would surely knock them unconscious from such a close range if it didn't kill them first. At least they wouldn't have felt it, seeing as how they were drunk.

After the assault the smoke then cleared, leaving two bodies lying breathlessly on the floor. Their fearful eyes stared up at the ceiling while their mouths hung open. It was as though Death had revealed his true form to them before stealing their souls as his own pride and treasure. Luckily not even the ceiling of flooring had been damaged from this assault; nobody liked property damage after all.

Sanzen's position changed from her previous area to a crouch beside the men. She felt their necks for any signs of pulse before a sigh escaped her, her eyes closing for an instant as she took the result of her actions in. They were dead. Without much of a care for this factor, her old sensei bleeding what care she had from her heart years ago, Sanzen brushed any thoughts easily aside and gazed up to witness Shihouin's personal murder. In the vault was a full grown lion; his large yellow fags drenched in blood, saliva, and bits of tissue. He seemed to be ridding the body of one of the samurai rather quickly; or in other terms destroying the evidence. Seeing this all was done she would then stand and make her way towards the front door to meet up with Shi; leaving two more bodies for the lion to feast on if he wished.

Luckily for Sanzen and Shihouin the mission objectives were to save the hostages and not deal with the samurai. Even thoguh dealing with them had been easy, the main objective of the mission had been lessened on them simply because it didn't involve forced direct combat. Since the Samurai were C rank, it was easy to merely distract and occupy them, which made Sanzen's job at securing the mission objectives much much more easy. From what he could tell, no one had suffered any injuries as a direct cause to what they had done.

Shihouin was still in the staircase winding down with the old skinny bank manager. He had managed to get ahead, holding the door with one loose hand as he prepped his ear against it. He could've easily used his Sharingan, but at this point it would just be a small waste of chakra. They waited in the staircase for a few minutes, until a large explosion when off, and then faded away as soon as it came. The bank manager jumped off course, near wetting his pants in fear. He hadn't been like that when Shihouin had murdered the samurai, hypocritical bastard. Before they went in the room, Shihouin turned to the bank manager.

"Clean up that mess up there, I wouldn't want crows and buzzards hanging around this place. I'm sure that's bad for business." The bank manager acknowledged his command. "No problem. I'll call some other forensic-nin* in later on today and have them deal with the mess." Shihouin turned around, placed a firm hand on the handle and opened the door. "W-w-wait!!" He stopped, and Shihouin turned his head over to him, eyeing him from the corner of his eye. "Was that really necessary? I mean, I really didn't actually want them dead, but I just wanted their business out of my hair. I didn't think that they were ever die." He was struck between life and death. He understood the value of his own life, and how much he cherished it, but at the same time he had realized that life was so fickle, and that as much as he could protect his own, it could be snatched away from him by someone like Shihouin at any moment, without a hesitant breath at all.

Shihouin smiled a bit, a grin cackling at the corner of his mouth in amusement. "What's so funny?! They were actual people! You didn't need to kill them!" Shihouin spoke, clearing the air. "The only reason they're dead was because of the mission objectives. It said to protect the citizens and did not specify that they be dealt with in any.... specific manner. I killed them for personal reasons I can't describe, but look at you. Just a few minutes ago you were celebrating the fact that I killed them, praising me for my efforts. Now you have reduced yourself to the height of a maggot, questioning my actions." Shihouin walked through the door, with the manager lagging behind. "The only reason I did not kill you was because of the mission. Had the objective been to strictly kill the samurai and nothing else, then you might've been the first to die." Shihouin walked off, letting the though weigh in on the manager's mind, lingering their for him to dream about.

Hopefully Sanzen had not heard muhc of the conversation and would be ready to go. Shihouin walked away from the manager closer towards her position with arms crossed. He lifted up a finger and snapped, and each lion and shadow clone disappeared in a poof of smoke, leaving the mangled remains of samurai, and the unconscious body of two more on the ground. Shihouin coldy turned to Sanzen and addressed her. "There's no need to collect any report, ninja will be here shortly, so we don't have to turn in anything to validate the completion of the mission. However, there is something I have been meaning to talk to you about. Soon, I will ask you to meet me somewhere, I don't know the place but when I know you will know. It's important that you show up. I could mean the difference between my life and death, if you still care for me...Sanzen-shishou" And in that instant, he was gone as if he'd been deleted from the face of the earth.

*I know forensic nin don't exist in the manga, but I would figure ninja specifically designed for cleaning up incidents like this exist in the modern world here on the site.
