Clan Traits:
The Uchiha have a number of traits which set them apart from the normal ninja. First off being that they all seem to have black hair. Also, every one in this clan has a main element of fire. They seem to be very proficient in the three basic jutsu arts of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu (This does not mean Uchiha characters can have three specialties), and are usually known as the elite brand of shinobi. Uchiha generally seem to work with their speed rather then raw brute strength and are very agile and quick.

Kekkei Genkai:
Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Uchiha are said to be descendants of the Hyuuga, with the Byakugan changing into the Sharingan over time. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. However the clan member cannot copy techniques that are unique to another bloodline and the clan member must have a body capable of meeting the chakra and physical requirements to do the jutsu. This rarely stops the clan member though, as such stressful situations often push their limits farther and allow them to harness their full potential.
The Uchiha clan member is not granted the Sharingan at birth; it is only activated later in life, typically during a time of emotional stress in the heat of battle. The Sharingan itself can be transferred to another non-Uchiha by a medical ninja, such as happened with Leaf ninja Uchiha Obito to his teammate Hatake Kakashi. Because his body was not born to carry the Sharingan, the eye is always activated and it burns Kakashi's chakra when used. To lessen the impact of the Sharingan on Kakashi's body, he normally keeps the eye hidden and out of use. Also of note, is the fact Kakashi, a non-Uchiha, was able to advance the Sharingan from two tomoe to three tomoe after gaining the eye.
The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe (comma). A higher mastery of the Sharingan can be seen in the creation of a new tomoe in the eye, with three tomoe being the typical highest form of the eye. The rare Mangekyou form is a unique evolution of the Sharingan beyond the three tomoe form, please see its entry for more information. An eye possessing two tomoe can allow the Uchiha clan member to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor copying of an opponents attack. For avoiding incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed and agility will greatly control whether they can move to avoid it. However, three tomoe will greatly help in this area.
Two tomoe will also allow the ninja to pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. It can also allow the member to pierce another’s body and see their chakra. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.
An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha clan member to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there.
Three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to do Genjutsu and hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing. This hypnosis can also be used as a Genjutsu counter, which is the ability to turn a Genjutsu spell back upon the original caster without the requirement of forming any handseals.
The Mangekyō Sharingan ( Literally meaning Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye) is a heightened form of Sharingan. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to powerful and forbidden techniques. The Mangekyō Sharingan is distinguished from a normal Sharingan through its appearance, which changes the form of the tomoe seal. Unlike in the case of the Sharingan, the appearance of the Mangekyō Sharingan differs from user to user. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to several powerful techniques, and erodes the eyesight of its users, eventually causing blindness, which can be alleviated by obtaining another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a sibling. The new Sharingan is dubbed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. The techniques used by this eye vary from person to person and is limited to one technique per eye. It can be achieved by the killing of someone who is very close to the user as a display of being willing to sacrifice anything for power. This can not be fooled and be a fake friend. It must be a real and true strong connection so it takes a certain kind of individual to be able to get it. It can also be gotten by extremely brutal and long training, taking many many many years to obtain of constant hard work and dedication, though the person can not be aiming for it and it actually just happens at random. Even with the hardest work, it is possible for an Uchiha to never achieve this level of eye mastery. |
Personality: Itachi is one of the cool and collected types. He is the center of attention a lot of the times just because of his general attitude. He is very kind and such, but is not one to put himself out there for no reason and grab the spotlight. He shines on his own with out even trying to stand out, only being the best he can be in anything he does. He is only disheartened when he knows he should have done better in something then what he did. He can be quite intense and certain things do get on his nerves and even anger him, but generally he is happy and it isnt rare to see him with a smile. His focus is mostly on his training, even though he has no expectations for him. He sets the bar for himself, and it steadily gets higher with each passing day. He is not a born genius shinobi, but he is a master of hard work, and that is how he excels.
He is typically seen as duty first, friendship second, self last. He has no remorse for his enemies, for they are true evil, and that he detests. He looks forward to missons and is anxious whenever he has down time. He likes to keep busy most of the time, but then again, relaxation is a key ingredient to every life. He has a lot of respect for everyone, even his enemies, even if it is only the respect of a warrior to another warrior. He knows who deserves what credit and is anything but rude.

History:
Uchiha Itachi came to be who is by events that occured before his birth. He would have grown up a bit differently, had ancestors stayed in Konoha. It is in fact, by a complete fluke that he even exists today. Long long ago, his clan became nearly extinct by the hands of one of their own. When this happened, the ones who he now shares blood with and are also long deceased, happened to be away on a vacation of sorts. The news reached them properly before they returned, and instead of coming back, they went into hiding until such a time came when there owuld be no more threat of their exterminator. However, the truth of the matter eventually became public knowledge and so, the came out of hiding.
Now on to Itachi himself. Unlike most other Uchiha, his mother and father were both not shinobi, having taking different paths then the Uchiha of Konoha. Itachi, however, being named after one of the greatest shinobi to have ever lived, wanted to follow those steps and so was enroleld in the Kumo ninja academy. He did not show as much promise as his namesake, and to this he was disheartened, but, he did not allow it to stop him. He still proved to be talented, especially not coming from a warring background.
He excelled in the academy and was released upon completeling his test, the first time it came around. It was said he could have easily taken the test three years later and been quite fine but that was the past and they could only move forward with what had already been decided. The teams were all full and he was the only one to graduate at the time, so his station was put on hold. he now seeks training and is fueled by the fire to grow stronger.

It was like a slinking spider, which no one ever noticed unless they looked in the exact right spot at the exactly right time or felt the piercing sting of its bite upon the flesh as it feasted momentarily. Before him stood about six guards, foolishly thinking that was a secure lock and key. With the current calibur of the guards, it would have taken an army to prevent the following proceedings. They were much too weak at heart mind and body, in every way inferior to the one who was about to hunt them down and slaughter them. The hunt would be short of course, they were foolish prey, and had fathered and let down their guard at the sight of the actions of the mad man, though after haivng been in the same vicinity of the man for six years, one would have thought that the shock and awe of any of the mans actions would have dried up, useless and non existent
As silent and quick as a falcon through the air, the killer swooped in and grabbed his first mouse. The hidden blade, thin and skinny, slipped directly through his ribs, shredding the heart, and then retracting in a mere second. The figure dissapeard into the shadows once more. The King of the guards collapsed, coughing up his own blood, gargling for air, which was futile. The heart was the center of the respiratory system. . He would soon die with lack of anything vital to keep him going.
The ohter guards had heard something and looked now to their captain, as the source of the noise. Fear instantly hit them. What had just happened. One moment, life, the next, half dead and fast apparoaching full death. Two knelt next to the fallen leader, one more looked down upon him from a standing position. The stucken one was now gasping, trying to talk, but finidng each breath to heavy to form words. The remainning two guards looked over at the slumbering prisoner, wondering if by some mystic way, he had managed to cause this,.
The blade struck again, at the back of the neck of the one standing above the captain looking down. He crumpled instantly. He was paralyzed and bleeding out quickly. His death would soon follow. The two other standing guards spun around to look at the next victim, the others still focused on the guard. The figure seemed to warp between the two standing, almost in a half kneeling position, and fired both of his hidden blades off this time, each slicing clean through the throat of each guard, piercing the jugular. Blood would enter their airway. The garggling sound was immediate, and they too, like their comrades, crumpled. Now only two remained, and the figure hid no more, His face was not clearly visible, but his eyes were golden and silent. He had a red scarf covering most of his face and the rest clothed in black and flesh. THe white hair flashed deeply and the fear hit them. This was death, and the steady gaze told the full story of their deaths before they occured. They barely saw him move before he leapt up above them and again fired both hidden blades again from their reset position, into the top of the skulls of the last sheep. There were no more. It had taken about 30 seconds to dispose of them all. True he could have done it quicker, but this way was much more systematic.
He stood full at attention and looked over towards the slumbering man he was supposed to be breaking out of here. He was a loud one, which had granted him much easier a time in finding him, but getting out unnoticed, was probably not going to happen. He was not willing to carry the man out of here, so waking him was needed. He retrieved the keys from the guards side and unlocked the door, before walking over to the captive and kneeling over him. He readied his right arma nd lowered his left hand to Zetsu's ear. He snapped his finers and at the same time released one of his hidden blades, causing the point to come with in less then an inch of his throat.
Wake up. If you want freedom, youll trust me, and follow my lead. If you choose any other path then that, I will slay you on the spot. |
